Thank you for the treasure trove of this email and its many offerings. I am grateful for all of it including how you are in so many ways the continuance of Darion, and I am looking forward to exploring your recommendations and what you've got forthcoming.
Hello! I have greatly enjoyed your teachings and sharings. Happy to continue another year.
I thought of you recently when i saw a show on PBS channel the World. It was a show about Japan
and the "language that is incense". Really fantastic. They have a person who is the ambassador or minister of incense. If I can find the link I will send it on.
Right after this was seen by me, the devastation of the fires on Maui occurred. One person interviewed said how sacred sandalwood had been as a plant there, She went on to say almost all had been taken away for other commercial purposes. Since I heard that I have been burning sandalwood incense and hoping it is a prayer for the island and the people"s healing. and well being. That their connection to the island remains. Thanks for listening, Frank and all, Mahalo ,
Ah, to have the words jokō bunka -- slow culture! This is what all the other slows (eating, stitching) are pointing to. A brightly shining North Star to guide. Thank you Frank.
Thank you for the first year of Poet's Dreamingbody, and I look forward to the next. I really appreciate the extensive work you do to present the Wayfarer lineage and it's representatives through the centuries. I've had some acquaintance with many of these characters, but your summaries and comments have greatly deepened my engagement with them. Mostly I'm feeling the beauty of the path you are pointing to, its importance and its frailty in these times, and my own kinship with it.
Brother Frank - Thank you for all you give in service to helping others discover their own path. "The Poet's Dreamingbody" is a wonderful reprieve from a world that is mercilessly busy. I am grateful to know you.
Nearing a Full Circuit of Wayfaring
