Thanks for this.....there is a book there! Living in the mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia, North Wales). It is inspiring and good to know that on my solitary journeys that I am, in fact, not alone.
I live in nature, but it's the wrong kind of forest for my comfort, though I deeply appreciate the protection it has offered. Mountains do absolutely nothing for me and I discovered that I have absolutely no earth signs in my chart, yet I do enjoy grounding with bare feet in the dirt, but in the sea is even better. So this post sent me looking for my soul song and I found some good things. "Does the song of the sea end at the shore or in the hearts of those who listen to it" Kahlil Gibran and "I am the spring of all waters. My words are like a ship and the sea is their meaning. Come to me and I will take you to the depths of spirit." Rumi. I have not yet found the reason I am exiled from the sea, but it is something I plan to change. My life has shifted from sea to desert my whole life. These last 28 years in the desert are enough. It's time to live out the rest of my life by the sea, to live on the edges where I feel comfort and joy.
